In this collection I used one of my favourite painting styles,an open-ended painting process,I have coined "Conceptual Epressionism." First I build rich layers of colour & texture to create imaginary backgrounds that combine my concepts of realism with the abstract.By letting my imagination run freely a concept will evolve, then using mixed media I interpret this concept to the working surface. For me this intuitive method of creating art from the imagination is exciting and enormously fulfilling!
